This is my uncle Aaron. He's a crazy uncle! Really loco. He is in Egypt right now. He bought me a camel. He is the baby in the family besides me. He is practicing to be a lawyer like my Tio Ruben. I love you tio.

Sabi's Place

This morning we went to the Farmer's Market. We bought stuff. We got corn, Smoked Gouda Cheese, a croissant and some bread that I can't remember the name of. It is like ciabatta. I think it is called sciattata.

After that we went to Target to buy a present for my friend Arial. Then we went to her party. Her party had a bouncy thing that you climb up stairs and then slide down a little slide to go into a big pool. You can slide frontwards, backwards, sideways and any way. We ate pizza and had punch. We left early because Tio Ruben came over. We went to Mimi's to eat lunch. After that we came home and I played on the computer and read. Today I started reading How to Eat Fried Worms. I love it. So far, Billy ate seven worms!

Tonight I made a restaurant called Sabi's Place. I made menus. I was the waitress and the chef. I made Rachel Ray style Chicken Toes, Salad, Corn, Rice and Brownies. I even sent my Uncle home with a doggie bag filled with chicken. I got paid some tips for the dinner. The first tip was that the service was excellent. The second tip was that he liked the food. The next tip was to not touch the food with my fingers when I put it in a doggie bag. The last tip was money!!!

Tomorrow I am going to go to IKEA with Miriam, Odalys, Osmany and my mommy.

My Day

Hello again. How is your day going? This is what I did today so far. I went to Starbucks and got a hot chocolate and my mom got a coffee. Then we went to Mc Donalds and I got a number 1. That is an egg Mc Muffin with hash browns and orange juice. I have to order it differently though. I only get it with cheese because I don't like the bacon or the egg.

Then we went to my mom's school. I helped her to put her curtains up in the room. After that I played with the Silly Sentences game. Then it was time for music class. At music class we sang Amelia Bedelia, The Troll Song, Engine Number 9 and The Three Little Pigs. We got to play outside for our break.

Now I am back at my class. We are going to work some more and then we will go to the synagogue to work over there.

Happy Fourth of July!

Today is the Fourth of July. We started the day watching the movie National Treasure. I loved it. I liked the part where they found the treasure and Ian got arrested. It was adventurous, cool and a two thumbs up movie! I also watched an Arthur movie that we rented.
Later we went to Lisie's mom and dad's house. I got to swim at her house. It was fun and excellent. They are remodeling their house. My tio Ruben came by to say hi when we were there. Lisie's Uncle Frankie was there too.
We had to put the cat in the garage because he might run away because the fireworks are so noisy. It isn't even dark and there are explosions all over! I am going to stay up late and watch fireworks in my house outside of my mommy's window. I could go to the park but I don't want to face my fears today. Maybe next year I will go see them outside of the house.

I forgot to tell you that my tio said that he thinks Fu-Fu is a boy. Sagwa is a boy too. I am going to play my computer games now. Bye.

Fu-Fu

My new camel is going to be called Fu-Fu. Fu means lucky in Chinese. Fu-Fu is also Sagwa's friend on the show on PBS kids called Sagwa. My kitty is called Sagwa. I am also calling him Fu-Fu because I am lucky because I get a new camel! It isn't really a real animal though!

My Tio Aaron got me a camel in Egypt. He is seeing lots of things in Egypt now. When tio comes back I can keep him. Look at what he is doing with Tio Aaron. I wonder if he will like my kitty Sagwa? I wonder if Sagwa will like my camel?

Friday

Hey, Hey, how are you doing???

I am sorry I haven't been posting. I have been helping my mom move into another classroom and I have been reading some Amber Brown books. The two books I read were Amber Brown Sees Red and Amber Brown Wants Extra Credit is the other one. Oh. I also read Amber Brown is Not a Crayon.

Yesterday I went to music class again. We sand the Amelia Bedelia song again. We read the Little Engine that Could and then we sang "If I Think I Can."

My Aunt Margie and my Uncle Alan visited us for a few days. We played Countdown together and we played with my cat. I played the violin for them too.

We might be going to San Francisco this weekend. I want to see my mom's friend Lisie. She lives in San Francisco. I want to go to the zoo.

Hip, Hip, Hooray!

Yesterday I got to go to the front of my mom's school during an assembly to get an award. I got an award for being a helper for the Principal at my mom's school on my off track time. I was nervous when I went up but it was cool too.

Today was my mom's last day of school. We had a pizza party. I also went to my music class with Ms. Kathleen. It was good. I liked the Amelia Bedelia Song. I couldn't get it out of my head!

Just Like Rachel Ray

Hello!
I cooked like Rachel Ray today. My mom and I made chicken toes and brownies. We also ate some grapes and sugar snap peas. I used my Rachel Ray cookbook for the recipe.

Today we listened to Juanes. I like that CD. My favorite song is number 6. It is called No Siento Penas.

My Bubbe left the house to go to Davis to work for school. My mom and I are going stay alone in the house and have a party by ourselves.

I am going to start a music class on Tuesday. I am going to sing and listen to stories. I think we will get to do a play.

Saturday Night

I went to two parties tonight. The first party was a pajama party. The second party was a Bocce Ball party at my tio Ruben's house. At Tio's house I got to play with Cal and Copernicus. We played with Lincoln Logs and played Bocce Ball with oranges. I also got to eat ice cream with Tio. I stayed up really late too. We didn't get home until 11:30. My mom said I could sleep in as long as I want and she will make me whatever I want to eat in the morning.

ALeah's Bat Mitzvah

Today I went to my friend Aleah's Bat Mitzvah. It was very, very long. Aleah read from the Torah in HEBREW! At the end we got to throw candy at her. Afterwards we had lunch at the synagogue. Tonight I am going back to the synagogue in my pajamas! Aleah is having a pajama party.

Today is also my Papa's birthday. He is 59 years old. I called him in Panama today. I miss him.

My aunt Margie and my Uncle Alan are coming to visit me this week. I will have a lot of fun with them.

Hi there!

Hey, me again. I just started to write. 12:00 in the afternoon now. I was sketching and coloring today. I did too sketches. It is a very good day. Are you hungry cause I am? I am writing early because my mom said I have to write before she gets home from school. My grandma said she would make me lunch. I was on my computer and I got a lot of good report card on my Jump Start Games. Before I did anything today I played with my cat. He is sick. My mom gave him medicine and she said that he got a little heavier. But I don't think he is heavier. I am going to eat lunch. I gotta go but I will come back later in a little while. Sabi

TV DAY

Hello. I didn't do anything but watch tv today. I played in my room. And I startid to write a few minites ago. My mom didn't go to school today becuse she felt sick. That means that I didn't get to go to school with her today to see a play. If she feels better tomaro we will go. Oh, I practist the violin today. I have to practis every day. Oh, look a the time - gotta go. Sabi

Oh. P.S. again. We took Sagwa to the vet. He got a shot and some medicine. He has a cold.

Today is Wensday and it is orchistra and priveit violin lesson day! I had a very busy day. I was at my granma’s school for more than too howrs. At her school I slept and helpt.
Orchistra was hard. My teachers name is Mr. Bort. My book that I will be working on is All For Strings. And the other book we bought is Folk and Country Waltzes for Fiddle. We will be practicing that book a lot. Even the other book. But we will work more on All For Strings.
My priveit violin lesson was easy. I sat down and I standed up. I liked sitting down more. We did Long, Long, Ago and some of the variations. We also practiced Hunter’s Chorus.

La Escuela de Mi Mama

Madagascar fue excelente. A mi me gustaba mucho. Ayer vino el Señor Girley al salón de mi mamá. El vino en su ropa de P.E. Durante el día yo fui al salón de la Señorita Cruz. Ella tiene en salón diferente de mi maestra pero hay cosas similares como mi maestra. Yo moví tres veces en cada clase. En la clase de la Señorita Cruz, vimos un video. El video era de la selva tropical. Habia muchos animales como mariposas, mariquitas, ranas, serpientes, monos y mas. La selva tropical tiene cuatros partes. Es bonita la selva tropical.

Last Day of School

¡Hola! Ya terminé primer grado. Me siento muy feliz y triste. Me siento feliz porque ya terminé primer grado. Y me siento triste porque no puedo ver a mis amigos en verano. Vamos a tratar a ir a San Diego e ir al zoológico de San Diego y a Legoland. Hoy voy con mi tio a ver Madagascar.
